Account Deletion Request
How to permanently delete your SkillLinkr account and data.
At SkillLinkr, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. If you no longer wish to use our services, you can request the complete deletion of your account and all associated data.
How to Delete Your Account
You can request account deletion in two ways:
Option 1: In-App (Recommended)
- Log into the SkillLinkr app.
- Go to your Profile.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Click on the Delete Account button at the bottom of the page.
- Confirm your choice. Your account and data will be permanently deleted immediately.
Option 2: Email Request
If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion via email:
- Send an email to: skillinkr@gmail.com
- Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request
- You must send the email from the exact email address associated with your SkillLinkr account.
- Our support team will process your request and permanently delete your data within 7 business days.
What Data is Deleted?
When you delete your account, we will permanently remove:
- Your profile information (name, branch, bio, etc.)
- Your profile picture
- Your email address and authentication records
- Your match history and connection requests
Note: Messages you have sent to other users in group chats or direct messages may remain visible to the recipients, but your name and profile picture will be anonymized or removed from those messages.
